CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Tigers’ star running back, Travis Etienne, is receiving well-deserved recognition as he enters the 2023 football season. Etienne’s stellar performances in previous years have earned him a place among the frontrunners for the prestigious Heisman Trophy, celebrating the nation’s top college football player.
To honor Etienne’s remarkable contributions to the team and the sport, Clemson University has announced a special Clemson Tigers Football Jersey retirement ceremony. Etienne’s No. 9 jersey will be enshrined, joining the Tigers’ illustrious list of retired jerseys.
During his time at Clemson, Etienne became the university’s all-time leading rusher and cemented his legacy as one of the most dynamic running backs in college football history.
